Ocala Housing Authority was established in 1951 to serve low-income families with affordable, quality housing in the City of Ocala & in Marion County, Florida. As a HUD High Performer agency, rigorous criteria are adhered to so that property inspections earn high rankings.
The OHA services have grown from providing housing to include various programs that assist Residents / Voucher Program Participants in transitioning from both the Public Housing & Voucher programs.
The ROSS = Resident Opportunities & Self Sufficiency - program is one of the programs that offers services for transitioning & becoming self-sufficient. OHA maintains many community partnerships to provide a range of services to our Residents / Voucher Program Participants.
OHA staff are very proud that the agency is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency.
